I really love this game and I could possible do that and be happy. The problem is would I be happy doing if like that? I don't think I would as poker then becomes work. Also knowing the life I do have would I be better off? Maybe.

I think I would just rather keep the game as it is. A fun hobby.

I find it difficult to enter this world. would have to have an investment on top. poor people like me and with a lot of bills to pay can't live off poker like that.

I am playing for fun and pastime, but if my game would become good enough and given the right conjunction, i woul like to reach a Pro level.
So i'd love to, but is very unlikely to happen

Hi Friend.

I would love to, but for now my work is what consumes my life, but come on, fight it.

For me, poker is an interesting sports hobby associated with a small income, I would not live by poker alone.

I think when it comes to making a living out of poker, there are very few who actually do it. But I don't think it has anything to do with giving up your life for poker. Even the pros have a life outside of poker, they have family and friends, but they know how to combine it, at least that's what I think. I also think it's not healthy if you give up your life for something, no matter how much money you can make with it. Sooner or later you will feel it both physically and psychologically and it's not worth it. But if you're talking about quitting your job because you're able to make enough money playing poker then there's a whole different story and has nothing to do with giving up your life

I can't, because it's not my main goal and probably I don't have the mentality to be a poker professional. I can't imagine myself playing 8-10 hours daily having the obligation to win money (or you don't have a salary for that month) and have to deal with all the ups and downs of poker.

It takes a little while to achieve this in my life, small emotional adjustments.

My biggest enemy is my anxiety.

I wouldn't give my whole life to poker, but I know someone who quit his job when he won $2,000 in a tournament, believing it was his main livelihood. It was about a year ago, so after 3 months he was already looking for a new job, because it did not work out and he was at the bottom. :(

As much as I like poker and its being a hobby for the past 10 years, I cant fully give everything that I have right now on my career to fully dedicate to poker, I doubt I could make ends meat and the same amount that I`m making just by playing poker, although you got to have skill, intelligence and dedication, sometimes you still rely on luck to win, that is the part we cant control and I hate depending on luck to live my life...

For me, poker is fun. At the moment, poker brings me money, but it is not enough for a full life. I think if I can make at least $ 1,000 a month playing poker, then I can dedicate myself completely to the game. I would like poker to become my main profession.

Good question! I would like to say yes, but probably only if I would play full time or at least semi-professionally. Otherwise I would try to invest some to improve my game, but my daily work consumes a lot of time.
