I have been playing poker for quite some time and I can say that the greatest number of players playing poker from Ukraine, Russia, Brazil and Canada.

It's very difficult to single out one country !!! Canada, USA, Russia, Ukraine, Great Britain, Brazil - I think poker is mega-popular in these countries !!!

Without the feckless, sneaky add-on UIGEA legislation of a few years back which severely limited, if not outright banned, online poker in America, I am certain the u.s. of A. is where poker is most popular. It is ingrained in our culture via novels, plays, movies, and even politics.
