I'm more interested in EGLD, which is less known and I believe in it.

I remember reading about a guy who bought $100 of each of the top 10 cryptocurrencies on the market as an experiment. After 1 year he ran the profit. The profit obtained was 400% in one year with BTC and ETH returning profits of 1075% and 2073% respectively. The rate of the others is that it pulled the profit down, but only 3 did not return more than 50% in a year. In short: while we are discussing risk and volatility, there are people making a lot of money out there. I currently own Cardano and SLP

For me, Epherium is probably the more preferred cryptocurrency.

I am skeptical about all of the above cryptocurrency options, so I can definitely say that I am not interested in owning any of them.
Smart lady, I agree.

What EXACTLY do you get? I can buy gold, silver, platinum. etc and put it in my safe. If I by bit coin what do I get? A piece of paper? If so, who backs it?

I would rather have 10K of precious metals in my safe than a piece of paper backed by a promise from some guy I don't know.

I collect and store bitcoin. I didn't invest my own money in it, so it doesn't bother me at all.

If only ... a number on a screen is all you can ask for.

Should we add comments in every single thread? I wonder what to write if you don't trade crypto.

I'm mostly familiar with bitcoin, which I guess is the best known. But I am not interested in buying it.

Well now there is an idea, maybe I should find a computer geek, and a CPA and start up a new company called 2bitcoin, and guarantee doubling your money in a year. After a year put a number on the screen to show the money was doubled. What could go wrong with a guaranteed investment like that?

People can sue you when they find out that one year later their money has gone down the drain over your false promises ... in case of Bitcoin & co. seemingly no one can be held responsible.

In the future, I'd like to understand more about how to successfully trade small amounts as a hobby. Juts to see how it all goes. The reality is, I probably won't dedicate much time to it.

I think the cryptocurrency that I like the most is bitcoin, I think that today I see it as the safest of all, only time will tell.

If I ever get the guts to try it out, I would definitely go with the "safest" option available. Bitcoin! It has not only been out there the longest. But the fact that it has survived this long means it has something going on.

Bitcoin. IF I ever try crypto, I'd go with the most known of them all to make it safer for me.
