I just bought the book last week but didnt have time to read it yet... Anyone read it? Ill post my review as soon as I finish it. Heard its one of the best books available and wish it is since its that expensive :(

I read that it costs about the price of a small car and is full of bad grammar and spelling.

yes its expensive but I care more about the info about CTS's game since imo he is one of the greatest player and he totally owns anybody he plays against. I serioulsy I dont really care about grammar lol its just a few buyins ;)

no but seriously can you tell me why and details why you think he is not that good anymore? like actual facts?

anyways the goal of the thread was to know if anyone read it?

Understood, but in the context of a book, bad writing equals bad workmanship. You wouldn`t accept poor quality in most products unless you bought them cheap (and this isn`t cheap). Not everyone can write to a professional standard, but anyone can hire an editor.

well he barely plays the highest stakes anymore and loses against the highest stakes HU players, so he doesn't crush everyone he plays by any stretch

Yes I agree with that...he should have hired an editor or a better one if he actually did ;)

umm the errors are intentional from what I saw the point is that they made different grammar errors in different versions so if one leaked they could find out who leaked it.

I'm pretty sure CTS is a winner at w/e stakes he plays at. Just because he doesn't play the highest stakes, which maybe 1 or 2 people are actually rolled for, and where any edge a player has over another is marginal at best, doesn't mean he's not a good player. If anything, the fact that he doesn't play the nosebleeds probably makes him the most rational and forward-thinking of the young guns. Table selection ftw.

yeah he used to be sick. krantz hasnt played the highest stakes lately though either tho hes still sick so I dont think you can judge their skill by what stakes theyre currently playing.

Krantz is for sure one of the best NL players and can still def hang with the best imo
