Got AK - called a raise pre- flop out of position - flopped a straight to crack AA. Over 64k now.

My phone is never a problem since I only text on it. I make sure my ipad is fully charged at the start of the day and I am usually okay. Yesterday was a long day but there was an outlet right behind my seat so to be safe I charged my iPad for a while.

Since I was ready early I decided to play the 11am PH. Might not be up and ready this early often lol.

For the most part I love the structure. You get 25k starting chips and they don't skip many blind levels at all....except... The first level is 50/100 and I hate that.

I keep getting hands and missing flops - it is too costly in the first level.

Just lost a huge pot with AK when I flopped an A and he got his 3rd 4 on the river.

This could turn into an early re-entry... Sigh.

You probably made a good choice. The structure in the PH events is Allen Kessler approved.

207 in so far and registration is open for a very long time. I hate that I have lost almost half my stack in the early levels.

Stay positive, you can rebuild your stack... harder yes,,, doable, absolutely...you have the playing skills to do it.
