Yes I watched him play this week. Insane streak of bad luck. two times very close to day 2 in the wsop ME but bad beats always crippled his stack.

It's kinda nice to see it happens to legends as well haha

What does poker matter to him? He has money like dirt, money is no longer important to him.
He lost a lot of money under the influence of alcohol when people read him and pretended to draw, while they themselves had nats.

Money doesn't mean anything to him....
Poker does. He is genuinely upset about bad beats not about losing money...
Besides it's GG's money he's losing not his own

Good example if how skill isnt enough in poker, you can go on a big unlucky sreak and it can tilt you easily so thats why poker is a mental strentgh competition.

I think the title is misleading and disrespectfull of OP, Daniel is a legend in the poker world. I do agree he ran bad last night.

I actually watched a good part of the stream and he even explained why he did what he did. There is a good reasoning behind it. Villain either flopped better or outdrew him on later streets.

The fact that he is able to 2nd or 3rd bullet in these high roller tournaments means he either is rich enough to do so, or he is sponsored.

It doesn't matter, because people will always critique high profile players like him.

That is what he always does, he talks himself in pots at streams, there are a lot of better streamers without bracelets, his time is over I think .

No he streams the Games. GG has a program, Stream Mode, where you get reimbursed for your buyins as long as you have enough viewers over 3 months.
Apparently over 40 suffice. So theoretically anyone could get "sponsored" by GG 😁

There's a lot of variance in poker. He usually plays very aggressive at the beginning to build his stack. He's actually looking for spots to get it in and hope to double up to make it to day 2 with a bigger stack and give himself a chance to run deep. He doesn't care about min cashing.
And the cursing or ocasionally funny cursing is because he has a syndrome, he's talked about it in his blogs in the past. I don't remember if it's Tourette's or something similar. Anyway, it is a diagnosis and he's mentioned it before.

I think Daniel is fantastic for the game. I really enjoyed his WSOP Vlogs (except the adverts) and don't always agree with everything he says but still think he is great for the game.

I think he thinks he is a better PLO player than he probably thinks he is though (I'm far from a PLO expert though) but he seems to have an obsession with "Blockers" which I don't get.

Not true. You get 100 % of the rake, not the
Buy in. Otherwise you would just be all in until you doubled...

I haven't seen him at a final table for a while. Although he goes to every tournament. For me now it's more business than a passion for poker.
