You should earn at least what is required to pay your bills. If your living expenses are covered then most of it should go to your br because the bigger the br the higher the stakes that you can play at. If you play at higher stakes and are capable of being a winning player then you make more money. If you are happy with the money you are currently making at the stakes you are in then you can stay. The beauty is, it's really up to you and what goals you have set for yourself!

So what percentage of one's profit after living expenses should go to bankroll? How much money can you invest in other things?

You all forgot one important point> A pro not only plays a lot, they study hours and hours everyday, hone their own game and check the opponents play.

I think that professionalism in poker depends on the period played because it is by applying that one becomes professional. The more mistakes we make, the more we improve and learn from our mistakes. In addition I think there are exceptions who are good at understanding the behavior of their opponents which is very important in poker
