there isnt one, no i joke but not really i think only a minority of poker players arent compulsive gamblers and take or leave it, think most have or get the itch to gamble not necessarily just in poker lot of poker players do odd tourney after work or weekend to chill then maybe slip into odd cash game then then rest of week there doing some sports bets or spinning roulette wheel on bus home form work or something variety to it i dont know lines thin and think most people sit in the addicted camp either to gambling or even just the game in general (just like you can to video games or any activity you enjoy).

whereas say doug polk that dude enjoyed the game and quit, and dont think he ever gambled per se he was and poker player and that was his mindset coming into and it stayed doubt he doubt he was having a flutter on the roulette or blackjack tables during or after quit poker, and he used bankroll management yh he shot took but im pretty sure he calculated it the risk each time doubt he just went yolo and plopped all his money into one game 2 tables or something.
and i think he loves the game but or did passion love died but dont think can say he was ever addicited to it could be wrong but he came at it specifically with goal to make dosh.
