Differences between a man and woman in poker?

i m woman, speak for me, is that i have still some fears that i have to take it not believing in my hand... or not defend, lately i m reading a lot and trying to be more aggressive thing you are giving me off: O

Every woman I've played with has been one of two characters. Either really quiet and calm, or overly boisterous and rather sexual at the table. Both are completely fine, but you need to remember that we're all playing to make money. Just stay calm, and play your hand how you would to win the pot, that's really what it comes down to, while obviously addressing the tells and play-styles of the people at the table with you.

Speaking from a online perspective, I can usually tell when I am playing against a woman regardless of avatar or handle. She's usually over aggressive to the point where I would say that she doesn't know when to back down.

They are usually easy to trap when holding top pair or even high card believing their hand is unbeatable. So if you are more reserved and careful I believe you've already improved your game compared to most women I know.

jeah womens are more tighter than mans but they are wild on strong folp and tricky with 2 cheks

Given I only play online poker, I often can't tell the difference. Mind you I am a micro stakes girl, so I see all levels and styles (some get the big ol' eye roll).

I defo agree that there is no difference between a man's poker game and a woman's. My quick question aside from that is as there are no differences why do they have "Woman Only" tournaments? I mean if Annette Obrestad, (My favourite woman player!!), won the wsop Main event everyone would say great. Not because she is a woman but, because she won?

Can someone tell me why this happens? Gl all..........

Differences between men and women in the game does not exist.It all depends on such factors as luck and skill to good bluff, and of course mental abilities

The reason they have women only tournament or ladies only is because they are trying to attract more women to the game.

Poker is statistically mostly men by targeting the other sex you double your cliental.

The reason this works is because women tend to feel less threatened or more confident in playing especially if it's their first tournament with women then men.

The reason if Annette won the WSOP ME would be different then if she won a ladies only tournament is because 1.) it's the ME it's the tournament everyone wants to win.. Also ladies only tournaments tend to be smaller then other bracelet events.

Also they tend to be weaker fields then other bracelet events..

Not because women are weaker players but because their just aren't as many top level women pros are there are pros in other bracelet events and these other bracelet events usually feature the top women players too along with the top men..

woman seem to be more aggressive than men! seem to take more risks than men also but play your game be confident and sex doesn't matter at the end. example i was playing live tournament i was bb with about 45k she was in cut off with same stack we had double everyone else with 14 players left top 9 get paid blinds at 1k/2k she shoved with tens i woke up with ak i folded and she showed but im like you could just raised why over play tens for your tournament with top 2 stack. still haunts me cause i didnt cash.

Question gets ask a lot of different ways but there should be no differences between them. Thinking other wise gives your opponent an advantage regardless of which sex they are.

It seems to me there is absolutely no difference between a girl and a man playing poker. And opinion about who plays as a does not depend on sex, but on the skills of the game of poker.

in online poker do not think there's a difference between being male or female in live poker is a little difference but there generally depends on the player assumes the woman unnecessary risks as men usually do and I think that makes a difference I would like to see even more winning WSOP etc.
