Feel free to add.

Rec Players:
  1. Are the kinds of people who will search for a remote angrily while kicking and screaming until they find it. They also like to blame everyone else for the loss of their remote, when in fact it may have been lost by them.
  2. Drive slow in the fast lane, and drive fast in the slow lane.
  3. Get excited to see A5o
  4. Favorite meal is a jack and coke and expensive prime rib from the ***** star in Casino restaurant, even though they are not budgeted for it. Hell why not they're just out for a good time.
  5. Like to Gamble, win or lose.
  6. Are bad losers.
  7. Will keep coming back time and time again. With constant losing sessions.
  8. Remember all their wins and never their losses.
  9. Are overly confident that their gut shot will hit on the river.
  10. Are still searching for the same remote because they are too cheap to go buy a new one.
Poker Players:
  1. Will not get emotionally involved in a search for a TV remote. Getting up and turning on the TV and switching it to the channel of choice, will suffice. The remote will turn up sometime.
  2. Drive fast in the fast lane, and drive slow in the slow lane. It all depends on the flow of traffic.
  3. Get excited to see AA, but still know they are beatable and to proceed with caution.
  4. Favorite meal is Fish and Chips, dinner can wait later... Jack and Coke will be affordable in about 2 hours once this guy's blown through his whole paycheck.
  5. Like to win, and never lose.
  6. Are good losers, unlike rec players at least you saw the hand go to showdown and you paid attention to how they played the hand exactly, so you're chips are currently in a savings account accruing some serious interest.
  7. May switch card rooms.
  8. Remember all their losses and rarely their wins.
  9. Are confident that your opponent's gut shot will rarely hit the river.
  10. Purchased a new "Harmony" remote for your TV thanks to Mr. Gambler Gutshot, and treated yourself and loved ones to a prime rib dinner.

rec player-
burns with anger when his line at the store/bank/DMV moves the slowest. curses everyone in front of him and wonders why this always seems to happen to him.
poker player-
understands that even though this time the line is moving slow, many times it will move fast and sometimes there will be no line at all, so in the long run it all works out.

Rec players deposit every month or so following no BRM. So they inevitably lose it all by playing outwith their bank roll so have to keep depositing.

Poker players make a slightly bigger deposit but follow the 5% buy in rule and build their roll slow and steady.

This is a quite good spirit and I must say that you should remember every day of your win as, this is what actually fills you with confidence of winning and can make you more aware of every strategies that are needed while playing, I always remember my winnings as it takes me to a positive direction which is very important.

One should know the difference of each game so that they will not get confused while playing.

Thanks
