Do you accept criticism in your game?

There is a difference between criticizing the game and trash talk in the chat. I like it when they criticize my game in the forum when I write or make a post about a hand and other players tell me their thoughts about this hand, but in the chat most of the time it is simply trash talk so I don't give it much Attention, in most cases I ignore the chat

If you are at the table, it is better to ignore that, it can uncontrol your game and that is how you say we all have a different way of playing and that must be respected

I have no problem with it. Always interesting to get different perspectives. Don't find very much useful information with that scenario though.

Of course, I accept criticism, but criticism should be constructive and preferably with a hint how to fix the situation and eliminate the negative side of my game.
And cursing that you were lucky, and you won from below, this is for weak and inexperienced players.

Problem is, most of what is sajd is not criticism its just someone pissed off because they lost,anything other then nice hand or good game is out of line.Criticising someone play during a game is inappropriate and better left to the forums,what people forget is, in a freeroll people gamble a little more then if they were playing a buy-in so your going to see some real dumb play goes with the territory have fun there is always another game:fight:

My opinion

Accepting criticism can be very hard. Your going along thinking your doing everything right. Your playing poker. Your chatting. Then wham a criticism comes. It hits you deep and you want to find a happy compromise. Sometimes it takes weeks. Meanwhile, the tides turn and you start to lose in poker. Seems superstitious but it happens alot.

The only solution is handle it the best you can. Like shown above.

I ignore the in game chat box. Nothing useful is ever said there. On the other hand yes if I could receive honest feedback on my game I would love it.

Of course, it is always good to listen to advice from much more experienced people, which helps to improve your game and also helps to follow other players' strategies that you then adapt to be yours.

Hi man,I accept criticism if it´s with respect but I don´t pay attention if opponents want to bother me,specially if I´ve just eliminated them ..Unfortunately,some players react so badly in those situations..

It is only natural that when we make a wrong or right move, some players have the habit of criticizing us in the game, but you have to stay focused on your game if you are playing well and if you play badly reread your game myself and do not care about the destructive criticism. depends on the table. hip deep at a casino and some drunk donk is telling me how i overbet for my e/v or whatever the ****, he can **** right off. my bud at a home game telling me i may have missed on some value becuse of xy and z? totally accepatble.

I mainly criticize myself only. Some players just love to talk, some want to unbalance you ... I ignore the chat at the table.

I agree. Everyone is set in the way they play. However, I do this with criticism. I apply the probability when that can happen and remember the person that started it all.

It may seem like criticism, but actually they don't care how you play. Their just trying to distract you. The fact that you are commenting about it says they are getting to you. Just ignore them, better yet turn off the chat.

You have to except criticism if you want to improve....i will never turn a blind eye to any criticism.....its all how u take the information in and proccess it....dont let the criticism hurt you but use it as a tool to become better players

When I'm playing online I do not care what others think or say players. Often they criticize just to annoy, and may also blur your game.
You have to mute the chat or not to care.

I suppose you need to be opened for criticism, but also you should take an advice only from these, you consider the authoritative. Then, when you play with the friends you can follow the suggestions of more advanced ones, but when you play online with random people why should you care? The only purpose of criticism during play is to annoy the opponents.
