Maybe JJ? (My fourth favorite pair)

In any case, IMHO "hardly ever" letting go of any hold cards often leads to unrecoverable leaks.

It's hard to say. Sometimes there are days or even weeks when some pocket cards give better results than others. I think it's just a coincidence, I don't have any favourite pocket cards, but of course, if I had a choice I would always prefer pocket aces.

No, I don't have such a hand. Once, a long time ago, playing live Hold'em, I caught a straight flush on K10 suited. After that hand, I considered this card my favorite hand for a long time. As far as I know, many of my poker friends have a favorite hand with which they almost always enter the game, so I decided that from now on K10 suited would be my favorite hand. But after a long game, I began to notice that I very rarely hit the flop with this hand, and it does not bring me any profit at all. I stopped considering it my favorite. And now I treat all poker hands absolutely equally, and I do not have a favorite. Even when I am dealt overpairs, I cannot call them my favorite hand, because I know that there is a chance of losing even on such cards. I just always play depending on the situation, on any card.

That’s a great perspective! It’s interesting how experiences with certain hands can shape our preferences early on, only for us to reassess them after more play. K10 suited definitely has its moments, but as you said, poker is so situational that even “premium” hands can end up being tricky. I try to read the play and the situation before getting married to any cards. That is the essence of becoming a true poker master. As Stu Unger said…learn to fold and live to fold again. The game is rarely about sun runs.

AA is my favourite couple. No surprise there. I have more chances with AA than with any other hand, so my logic tells me that it is the best hand for me.

In poker, especially in No-Limit Texas Hold'em, the combinations that players almost never fold preflop are pocket Aces (AA) and pocket Kings (KK). These are considered premium hands with the highest probabilities of winning against most other holdings. Pocket Queens (QQ) and Ace-King suited (AKs) are also very strong, but situations like facing multiple all-ins or extremely tight opponents may sometimes warrant a fold. Post-flop decisions depend heavily on board texture, opponent tendencies, and stack sizes, so even strong combinations might require folding if the circumstances indicate being dominated.

I don't think there are any starting hands that you can't fold. You have to recognize your current position in the tournament and decide whether to get in or not, whether it's AA, KK or a 22. It's not good to stick to favorite hands, because that can only lead to big busts.

For me; I drop the middle pairs, 66 to 99; 22 to 44; if I don't get a set, against the other pairs I shov even if I lose the flip, I just believe in destiny in this case.

The very first opening hand that I won with was 7,7 so they are my sentimental favourite cards. Pocket Kings have probably cost me the money/chips in losses, because the pots are usually quite large.

I have two. AA pre flop I'm never folding unless it's a very specific situation where the cash after the bubble pops is really significant or a tournament satellite ticket. But this is extremely rare because on most bubbles I'm getting in the pot with AA

My other hand is 10-5 very simple. There in every hand that makes a straight. Even though they cannot make a straight together.
