I would augment that - don't play when you are tired. A freeroll, yes, but no kind of cash tournament.

Read my notes of my gameplan,start listening to relaxing music,filled water bottle,clean glasses,sit comfortable,visit wc and last choose a table.

Before starting to play a seriuous tournament , I register 2h earlier in another tournament with the same structure but a lower buy in just to get myself used to what is about to come

Ex: If i am registered in a 50$ tournament 9-handed, with 6 minute levels at 20:00
To get in the mood I register in a 9 handed and 6 min levels tournament with just 1$ buy in , at 18:00


Off topic I advice all of you to play the same structure and not mix tournaments 4 min , 6 min , 8 min and 10 min levels in the same session , because all the tournaments have to be approachedwith a different strategy.....
I personally play Hyper Turbo in the morning , and in the evening I start to play regular with 10 min blinds

First I take a nice shower, then I have a good coffee with cake and cookies.

I like to drink coffee before I start playing.

I just sit in my chair and my bottle of water

I usually eat a good meal before playing in case the session goes on for a long time, I always put on music, and I have a comfortable armchair to endure the session.

Good sleep and drink coffee before tournaments , thats it . ) good luck at he poker tables .
