Do you go to the next level with your poker look or do you just grab a hat and shades. Do you prefer no hate no shades? Do you need to look fly or can you go right after work?

Clothes do not really matter to me. I love poker so much that I can play wrapped in a sheet. :D

If you come to the casino wearing a T-shirt and light sandals, you will freeze all hands and think more about hot tea than about playing. You won't be able to play poker in such clothes, and if it does, it will be bad poker.
But a sweatshirt made of good natural material, capable of keeping my body warm in an air-conditioned room, is an excellent way out of the situation for me. Even if I get a little hot, it can always be removed easily.

I dress for comfort, no other reason. I never where hats so that does not work. Not sure if anyone I play with even thinks about tells so no point in covering up. Just enjoy the game.

Playing poker online I do not see any sense in this, sitting at the computer in sunglasses is ridiculous

It doesn't matter what you wear to play online poker at home

of course, just loosely, sunglasses so as not to see when the man's pupil dilates, you have a hand: D and just loosely enjoy the game, not stress.

Like to wear comfortable clothes when playing live. Online normally kick it with woman's underwear. That my little secret though.

I have to be comfortable and don't have to sit in a dress code to please someone.

For me, it doesn't really matter what I wear. The most important thing is that I should feel comfortable in my clothes.

I don't wear anything special for playing poker. I am not a fan of all those hats, glasses and hoodies which some players use. I may be old fashioned but i prefer to play with people who are good enough to control and hide their emotions without using special clothes.

I agree; players should just wear whatever they typically wear, or something close to it. I suppose you may want a "look" for table image reasons, but winning poker players are observant enough to see through your "act" and then you are just left uncomfortable lol

Wear whatever you usually wear :)

lol - I've never gone that far, but I will admit that sometimes I have put on a suit or something more formal just to play poker at the computer. Why? Yeah, sure, no one sees me - but you play how you practice. I try to practice wearing what I'd normally wear. I can't show up to a casino or homegame in pajamas and a housecoat - so I probably shouldn't get into that habit online :D

p.s. Note that I'm only using online for practice though - I much prefer live poker, so my online play is to simulate live games. If you are an online pro poker player (or focus on online games), then by all means get comfy at your computer ;)

Next level? Not really. Dress up slightly more? I might a little. I tend to wear more formal clothes anyway though. As I noted earlier, I wouldn't go to a completely different "look" just for poker if you aren't comfortable inhabiting that look.

The truth is that I had never thought about it until I saw this post. I did not know that there was a special clothing for a poker player, I have already seen in tournament people who wear glasses so that their emotions are not noticed when playing but more than a disguise or way of dressing it seems to me that it was a more used strategy to advance in the tables, the great poker players I have rarely or never seen them dressed in such a way. Regards.

Hi.
Of course I have a daily poker outfit. I am a very dangerous opponent, so I always wear my favorite dinosaur costume.
Good luck.

I prefer everyday clothes and a lot of money in my pocket than a cool outfit with pistachios.

Well, first you would have to define what type of poker player you are referring to specifically, since I consider that each person has their own personality and style. If we talk about the way we dress when we go to a live tournament, I personally go in the most comfortable way possible and well dressed and maybe some glasses if at some point the lights bother me.
