Do like to eat while you play?

I would not say that I like doing it but I do eat while playing poker merely for efficiency. When I'm grinding and in a zone, I don't' like to stop for anything. I often find myself cooking and preparing meals in the midst of a tournament.

Sometimes playing long seshes demands a bit of food! If I am going to be unable to eat sometimes a meal replacement drink is bloody handy!

It depends on the time of day and if I'm in a tournament or not. If it's early in the day I usually don't eat anything other than a snack but later in the day I will eat while playing if I'm already in a game.

Eating something crispy or crunchy helps a lot to hold my nerves.

I personally prefer drinking to eating while playing poker - but not alcohol, just soda, tonic or another soft drink.

Eating and playing

Personally I prefer not to so that my full attention is on my game and my opponents.
When it comes to other players, it all depends on their table manners. Some people are very messy eaters.

When I play online, I always have a pot of peanuts on my side.
At live I only eat at halftime, during the game I only drink water.
