I love it, because it forces it me to go above and beyond what's needed to succeed. However, I hate that sometimes it doesn't matter whether you're able to put in the effort needed, and can fail regardless.

It's really strange to see so many haters on the biggest poker forum online. If you hate it - why read and talk about it? Just ignore it or fight against it. Can you fight against online poker? Nope, so the choice is simple - love it or live it.

definitely a love/hate thing. love poker for the game and how technical it is, but at the same time i hate how bad the swings can be sometimes. you can play a hand perfect and then get sucked out on. and to me it always feels like once that starts happening it keeps going for a while.

love it

I love poker... There are only a few situations in life that people start out equal... but are allowed to fight for supremacy... Most sports teams start out better then the other... Either they have better pitching or better three point shooting... but poker everyone starts out the tournament with the same opportunity... the rookie and the hall of famer... of course it doesn't stay that way for long... but at least for a second everyone is equal to each other... its a nice feeling.
