Cash games for me. I like how there's more post-flop play, and I find them more stable with less variance. It's easy to not make the money in 10 tournaments in a row, harder to lose 10 buy-ins in cash games.

Fail with a big bluff in tournament and it's over, do the same in a cash game and you can just top up your chips again.

The downside for cash is you can't get that big win like you can from tournaments. It's steady steady steady but that suits me.

I prefer tournaments, equal starting position and no rebuys is the best cos people can't take stupid risks and re-buy. (Its also a lot cheaper)

I enjoy the challenge MTT's offer. Plus the small bit of cash they bring me. MTT variance is soul crushing. I do hate the fact so MTT's have rebuys.

I enjoy the profits cash tables bring but hate grinding them for hours.

I like them both. Tournaments I like because there is a lot mor game play for for the investment with big payback depending on your position at the end of the tournament. Cash game I like because as opposed to tournaments you can just stop playing whenever you like. Keep what you win and cry if you lose. LOL.

That aside, now on to the question.

I prefer tournaments, and have since playing in my first one five years ago because I wanted to participate in a competitive activity again. I still play cash games once in awhile, but I'm primarily a tournament player.
