I don't do it for the money. Instead I do it for the rush, thrill, and excitement of the game. Really a fun time.

I play poker because I like this game about the idea of getting rich through the game I don’t even think about it. And I would still play poker if I became a millionaire.

Playing poker relaxes my brain.
Of course i wanna get rich only by playing poker...but its not that easy .
Still have bad beats, have bad tilts,learning to control my tilts... so i have a lot to learn
But yes ultimate goal is to get rich.

I just enjoy the game and everything around poker. I think they should make it a olimpic sport to get people to know it because some people still think of poker as gambling which is ashame

Perhaps you are seeing the game from your own perspective, but it's not always the case. A great many people find gambling fun, whether or not they have an expectation make profit. Casino's would not exist if this were not the case, neither would sportsbooks.

Hoping to win a big prize (such as a big MTT or a sat tournament) isn't the same as looking at it as a way to get rich.

Yea most people will always think about poker as a shame game , coz they know nothing about online poker and tournaments , and "responsible gaming" and "bankroll management" and "the study" and many other topics ..
They just think that bad drunk guys sit around a table , and throw there money in the middle for a card game.

Simply put NO. lol

I enjoy playing and while it is very unlikely I'd actually get rich it sure would be nice. I've lost 1/2 my bankroll in 3 months but hopefully making a comeback I was thrilled to finish in 3rd place today in a $1.10 tournament where I won $10.08 less of course the buy in.

Everybody plays so seriously you would think we were at the wsop..
Although somebody did call my QQ all in with a 9 and 5 Hearts:sheep:.

it is difficult to get rich with Poker. I personally see poker as a hobby. Obviously if I would like to win like all of us who play. but to say that I could make a career in it would be difficult.

I would still play poker no matter whether I'm a millionaire or not. Just love the thrill of earning and progressing in the progress bar and making challenges list in full use of all the promotions.
