do you play when "bored'?

Do u ever get online n not much happening and decide to play cause u r bored?
Well DON'T!
Playing just cause ur bored will never bring a winner n will have u asking yourself "what the heck was i thinking" Attitude and your mindset is so very important-- You have to have ur head in right place, be focused! I have found that I play my best when i am in the mood to play--- have computer set with all i need: beverage, notebook (* to keep notes in case site doesnt offer that option) chips-to keep hands busy n keep me from playing too many hands.
Mindset is important -- You want to sit at table with a good attitude, a winning attitude.
Next blog will be about taking notes and why everyone should!

When I am starting to get bored while I play poker I quit poker

When I am bored when I dont play, I usually listen music, watch movies or porn

playing poker is the thing i turn to when im bored.

i play when im bored, drunk, hungover, and any other mindstate.

never took any notes my whole life on poker, and dont plan to.

It depend.Some time I was in bad mood.then I just play four fun.Mostly I would play freeroll.And when I am in good mood,I would take poker seriously,and play realy money investing game.

My poker playing is what I do everyday to not be bored. I play 8 to 10 hours a day, just about everyday. What can I say, I just love playing. I don't have to be playing for mega dollars to get a thrill.

Poker is a great way to get un-bored. Most people need a kick if they are bored and poker is a great way to get it. Therefore, I disagree that you should never play when you are bored. I think it's fine....

Being bored is a form of "emotional behavior" and thus a very 'negative' when playing poker.

Play bored if you wish, but you will have more losing sessions than winning ones.

Controlled "confidence and focus" will yield better results.

Maybe even try some yoga, meditation, or "poker strategy review" immediately prior to playing and you will likely do much better. "Preparation" for your poker sessions will pay off.

I suggest you don't play bored and don't play tired.

Having stated all this, I did not say it is easy because it is not.

Knowing 'what to do' and actually 'doing it' are entirely 2 separate things.

I play when im bored not bored happy sad, im never bored though when im at a table(s) Its a personal preference I think. Some people probably will not play when they are bored cause they arnt as focused but its up to you decide when you play at your best

Yeahh , i sure do play when im bored . Im not an out goin person so i staay at home , watch tv , excercise , yoga , weekends tennis , but Poker whenever i feel like bored . I dont play to WIn , i play becuse i love to play . It will be good to win , but thts not my main motto , i'll defninitely put up a fight , nd thats it . winnin sure feels good

when im bored and i start playing poker boredom stops right there, but sometimes i just get tired of playing poker, specially large field FR and i cant play anymore and then get bored because i cant play, cant sleep, dunno what to do so i watch poker vids...

I think it depends a lot on your own definition of bored, and if playing a session when bored really gains your focus and interest.

Of course, if you're good enough and play games that you can kind of autopilot a bit in, you could certainly be making a good decision to play bored (more winning volume than you otherwise would have), but I would imagine that playing when bored often means uninterested for many players and can be a bad thing for plenty.

I personally play poker when I want to, so I wouldn't call it boredom. I don't think I've been bored in years, though my definition growing up was always "I don't know what to do, I'm so bored." There's always something to do these days, work, sleep, exercise, games, television, sports, dogs, friends, girlfriend, food, other hobbies. If anything, there's usually a stack of things I'd like to get to that I never do (many, many books and movies).

I have logged onto a room before out of boredom, as silly as it sounds, I sit at a table and play, then I leave as soon as I am ahead, even if I win the blinds.

Then I move onto another site and do the same. silly, I know.

It is a huge mistake to be bored and play cards... It wrecks your game... And when you lose... Your boredom turns to frustration... And frustration leads to anger... And anger leads to tilt... And BOOM... bankroll gone along with your pride...

Personally my boredom goes away when I boot up a table because poker is super interesting and exciting lol

I play micro cash games usually for about 1-2 hours a session and that's it for me. I cant think of going any longer than that or I would be very bored at that point.
