aa on any seat, any day. i dont think anyone would rather have kk than aa, as often as an ace pops up when someone has kk.

besides sb is perfect pos. to have aa, maybe utg would be closer decision

AA on the sb. Position doesn't change my postflop decision-making all that much with AA, since I can only be beaten by drawing hands and made monsters, which makes the ways you can/should play the hand somewhat limited. Really, position is more important when you have a weak but bluffable holding or like a draw, or a made monster. AA is none of those unless you flop the set or counterfeit a lower two pair with Aces up or w/e.

because i just don't get how people can prefer to have KK than AA

Its a good question! I like having position no matter what hand I have. I prefer having AA on the button to the sb because I will have to act first on the sb. But I think I still prefer AA in this situation. the button migh try to steal, he may be agressive and I can either reraise or smooth call planning to checkraise him on any flop. Maybe the button will have kk when I have AA on the sb and we can get it all in preflop. lol

AA on SB. I would go super aggressive after flip if I didn't hit an ace or flop was dangerously filled with straight or flush draws. I would check the shit out of flop and turn if I hit a set.

I'd probably prefer KK on the button rather than AA on the SB...

Unless you go all in preflop then it doesn't matter so much about position.

Everyone has bad experiences with AA or KK or any premium hand for that matter. They also have selective memory and forget the good experiences with them or the times they were the ones that cracked them

Right now my nemesis hand is AK. It was KK last month.

OP both are good I'm not one to turn down premiums

I would be happy to get either hand, and any position. They are both premium hands. If you're talking about both hands appearing in the same hand, I would have to choose the aces, but if you are not talking about both hands appearing in the same hand then I would choose the Kings because of position.

I would prefer AA in the sb all the time. Being second to last to act preflop allows all the other donks to over value there hands, that is when I become extremely aggressive. AA for sure. Good hypothetical!
