Yes, occasionally I'll show my bluffs. Conventional wisdom when I started playing was that it's never advisable to show, and for a long time I never did. The reasoning goes that you should never give away more information about your playing style than you have too, and against good players that's true. It's much better to keep them in the dark. But bad, weak, inexperienced players don't know how to process that information and are more likely to miscalculate when and how often you're bluffing. If you show a bluff you'll often be seen as a bully and who doesn't want to take the schoolyard bully down. Nobody likes being made a fool of and certain players will start calling down with all kinds of junk with the mistaken assumption that you're always bluffing. When they stack off with top pair vs your flopped set they'll think you just got lucky and curse their own bad luck, not even understanding that your earlier bluff had set the table for this.
However, this is a double edged sword and you can often find yourself not knowing where you stand with some medium strength hands.
