Sad, but very true, haha. I do think that I will make a final table before he leaves the came (if he plays as long as Doyle has), and I will definitely watch the video posted in this thread.

I agree that it he is really good but it seems like every year has been a new player that is not among the top television professionals. That does not mean that one wont win it but the field is so big that it is very unlikely. He also does a lot of table antics that make him a target. I saw him make a smart comment to a player when he had a straight and the player had a flush and he didnt really care for the comment that was made toward him where a lot of players dont try to rub their hands in their opponents faces as to not draw unneeded aggression because you never know when someone might get lucky.

I think that even though he is a great player, you need to not only play well bt have insane luck, and therefore it is highly unlikely.

i think daniel is an amazing player but at the main event the odds are very stacked against you to win, and it seems to me that when he makes the cash bubble and he is losing his stack he starts to play a range thats not his regular play but also with emotions which makes it very hard to make the right decisions in the moment. so my thought is he has a beter chance than most but i dont think he will win the main event in our or his lifetime

At total who care, at all Daniel made more money than every poker player alive, but Ivey is very good too, i think Negreanu is more like for tournament play and Ivey more for high stakes cash tables cause he risks more. And yes i think he can and he will win it too. Who knows when heh

He has the skill for sure, but with so many players and all of the variables I really doubt it. I would like to see him win it, he has done so much for poker.

I actually really like him as a player, and want him to do well. But the field is pretty insane, hard to bet on a single player to win the whole thing.

Daniel has all the ability, but also need not to make mistakes, a good portion of luck to your advantage, it's such a massive event that need for many flips to hit him.
