Sometimes I have thoughts that this game will not live forever. What is your opinion on this matter?

It will remain with us for some time...the format may evolve, but it will last many thousands of years.

I prefer draw poker, but NL is very popular

Beyond out extinction the question becomes irrelevant.

It's like a trilobite asking its neighbour "how long would Algae be our dietary mainstay?" ....forever...and it was!

I do not know if forever , no one I think can know , but a few hundred years my opinion is that it will be in the top :)

Forever is not just until human race extinction, this is forever only for the humans. But after that other species can survive and will not play poker.
And yes, we can say forever for the humans

It's been around for a long time and it's built up a huge community so this will last forever as I see it may not be trendy but it stays active.

Of course it won't! :)

There will be a point in time (and there already has been one) where whatever is living will have no idea that poker even existed.

Also, built into your question is the assumption that time is linear, which is only a theory/belief. Many other cultures (Hindu for example) believe time to be circular, so in these instances poker will not exist again in the future (because it didn't in the past). :)

My opinion is that I won't live forever and honestly I don't care if there will be poker after I die or not :)
