I don't have any talismans or rituals

In my opinion, all these superstitions are just nonsense. For me, poker is a hobby, a pastime in the evenings. If I start a game, the only condition is that I have to be in a good mood, otherwise I don't play.

No, I don't use it. At one time I thought about buying myself some kind of talisman or, for example, some kind of exclusive card keeper and using it as a talisman, but then I changed my mind. I thought about: "For example, I go to play poker in another city or another country, and suddenly I forget this talisman at home. Does this mean that I won't be able to play poker? Or go back home for the talisman? Because without it I won't be able to play, since I believe that it brings good luck." For this reason, I decided not to buy a talisman and not to tie myself to something material. I decided that I would rather believe in myself and my strength than in some kind of talisman that I can forget at home or even lose, for example. All luck depends on our inner state and not on a material thing that we believe can bring luck.

If you forget it just find a redhead and rub their hair. That should give you at least temporary good luck.

myth lolll, poker if you don't dedicate yourself hours and hours a day to reach the medium and long term in tournaments (MTT tournaments) your career will be short.
The nature of the game is what makes the game so dynamic (the nature of the game in relation to mathematics and the dreaded bad beats) that it makes players think about superstitions.

For the superstitious, they are beneficial, bringing extra confidence while playing, and to believe that only inspiration, luck and good play make the player reach the podium.

I have a habit of playing poker only when I'm in a good mood. Otherwise, I don't start the game. It's a good habit, it increases my chances of a good result

I have so many I hardly know where to begin...
At my computer station I have a fairly large desk, with 3 monitors, 27", 34" curved, & 24". Below them I have an assortment of gemstones, most are to attract good fortune, but others to help one to be bold and brave in their decisions.
I keep a piece of Hawk's eye close to my hand (& occasionally in my hand), along with green jade, aventurine, rose quartz, amazonite, & Tiger's eye. Some of these are placed below my monitors, others are close to or in my hand.
I've also got a few chip protectors I keep close by. A couple of them are medallions that have great meaning to me.
And lastly, I keep a couple of Canadian Confederation commemorative coins - 100years (1967) the Lynx quarter and the Rabbit nickel. The Lynx quarter is my random number generator for close decisions... 'heads or tails', lol.

At one time I had a lucky poker hat. Another time my daughter gave me a lucky coin that I kept with me for a few tournaments. There has been several times I wore a sentimental ring or bracelet. During all those times they did not bring me luck. Variance and probability proved them wrong time and time again.
