To all the people talking about the lighting, you could try the colour changing lenses... although if its really dark and they go clear i guess its kinda pointless xD

if youre that worried about giving away tells with your eyes,. the chances are the rest of your body is already screaming out tells ;)

I don't wear them. But, if I ever do get a pair I will find frames I like. Get my progressive lenses and them possibly ship them to shark optics for coating.

I want them to mask where I am looking, cut down glare, not darken the room, and look good! All this and I need those bifocals to read my hole cards!

Getting (being) old sucks!

Anything you can do to keep people from reading you? It does give somewhat of an advantage to eliminate that part of people reading your movements, especially when you're first starting and are really nervous..

Live, in a standard casino, I'd look at sunglasses as a weakness, a player who isn't comfortable in the live arena.

HaHa sue! The only time I wore them this last trip to Vegas was when after all the lights were out and the curtains were pulled tight--it was still too bright for my eyes in my room!........

Good question unknown322.
Another question would be: if you trust in you, have you wear sunglasses?
My opinion is it depends on the character of each of us :D

I wear reading glasses when I play and usually a ball cap. I thought of wearing sunglasses but I can't see nearly as well and would probably screw up.

Sunglasses are def a bit of a cop out - true live players have the composure to succeed without, though I know some people have conditions, etc that make it impossible without

When you look at the lighting in some poker rooms, having sunglasses on isn't necessarily a sign of a person trying to hide tells (although it usually is). They could also have a sensitivity to the type of lighting that is used in the room. I know I do.

This is a HUGE problem for me in some room--the lighting.

Glare Glare GLARE!

Unfortunately I need my glasses (bifocals) to see the cards in my hand as well as the board. I have anti-reflective coating on these but they are no match for some poker room lights!

I am seriously thinking of getting a pair of progressive bifocals with NO coatings at all so that I can send them to a certain company to have them put on their coating.
