Does anyone get angry at slow players in every hand?

When I was newer to poker and had less patience it definitely annoyed me. Now, it really doesn't bother me. It gives me more time to think over my hand, if anything, so it saves me using my time bank of I wasn't sure how I was gonna continue.

Although, since the addition of throwables on Stars, I'll just throw an alarm clock at someone if they're consistently slow

I guess there is also the fact that the time bank is there for a reason, we select the speed of play that we are comfortable with.

Just part of the game I fear. Try not to letting it get to you and put you on tilt as it's not worth getting upset about.

Doesn’t bother me. At times,I’ve been known to be one of those “slow players” . I’m always multi-tabling and keeping the boredom at bay. Eventually the timer ticks down online anyway

I’ve only called clock once out of the hundreds of times I use to play live poker. The guy was literally falling asleep at the table. He must’ve been an exhausted grinder

Usually that always happens that they lag or the internet is slow, or they are simply newbies and do not know how to manipulate their hands or their openings when starting a poker hand, and that is why they are slow.

poker is like the ladder, if you don't know how to handle it you can fall ...

Many players do this as a strategy near the bubble to cash, seen big tv pros do this as well. Obviously this can frustrate players who have comfortable stacks but if it lets someone cash makes sense and normal play resumes after.

Not sure why someone would generally play slow, maybe learning the game?

You should't be angry on slow playing. Time for players is the same to anyone. It is time for player, he can do with it whatever he wants.

I myself sometimes use this method when I really need to get into the prize zone. Although this may annoy many, but this is the same style of play as everyone else, I do not see anything shameful in this, I have a positive attitude.

The most hands can be played very fast. But some hands are intense. In these hands it is important to slow down and rethink what your choices are.

Of course it is annoying if someone plays every hand slow.

In the worst case he is using it to get you angry and make faults in our gameplay.

Mostly when they wait until last second and then fold, You know he is there but
don´t play

This bugs me the most in low stakes games or hands that aren’t for a very substantial amount of money at all. If you have to make a decision that’s reasonable but when you’re playing online and you take the full 15 seconds every time action is on you it gets tedious.

I was in a tourney once where a player ran the clock out every single hand and then came back right away. Every hand!! I sat at the same table with them for over 1.5 hours. Nothing I could say would get them to stop.

I admit that I use the time sometimes in late fase of MTT (bubble boy area)
A lot of players do that so they hope to play slower than the other tables and so they will not have to pay the blinds as often.

Of course the bigstacks take advantage of this by putting some pressure on it (they bet and hope that everyone folds)
I sometimes take a look at the other table to see how fast they are playing and to see how they are playing ... every info at the FT can be usefull
Also the same situation appears before the final table

Was it close to making the money? I usually do that if Im really close to making the money.Its a strategy a lot of people use. Now if they are going slow like that at the beginning it would piss me off. Really no excuse or reason for it then. But like you say you have to deal with it , there is nothing you can do about it. And it sucks for sure...

yes we need to remind the player to play fast. most of them multitask while playing poker hence they play slow
