I completely agree poker can be both a lifestyle and a career, but it demands balance. The game is intense, and it’s easy to let sessions, study, or travel spill over into personal life. For me, the key is setting boundaries: dedicated time for family, breaks after long sessions, and clear limits on when and how much I play. I’ve had moments where poker tension or focus created minor friction at home, but keeping open communication and prioritizing family helps prevent serious issues. Without that separation, the game can quickly start costing more than it gives.
