Sorry to be pedantic, but the question should've been does your Partner and not Woman. Makes it less sexist and excludes all people and genders.
My partner has no interest in Poker. I was playing it before we met, therefore would have fit into my pastimes, before we got married.

My wife was annoyed that I was spending time on the game. I think this is a common problem. But I got divorced. Now I play when I want and how much I want. Of course, I didn't get divorced because of poker, but now it doesn't matter.

I can empathize with people who're feeling abject because their partners are investing so much time in something besides their relationship. If your SO starts complaining, maybe he/she's got a point.

Some women are worried, some tell their husbands that they pay little attention to them because of poker, others ask or demand to spend free time with her and the children, rather than sitting at the table for 5 hours.

My Wife hates all forms of gambling, as she was an Arcade Manageress she has seen what people will lose on the slot machine's. We were once on a night out with Friends and at the end of the night I put my remaining change into a slot machine, when she asked me if we could go for a Chinese meal I knew my Taxi money would not cut it so I said "no we can't" She just yelled back at me "Well you shouldn't be playing that damned thing."
As she did I dropped the Jackpot! and said "Now we can!" I was only playing with the last of my change, and still wouldn't have had enough for a meal but the bandit came through and paid for everything. I had quit playing them with banknotes a long time ago, but getting your loose change out of your pockets always felt better not having to carrying all that weight around.

I think Poker can take a toll on relationships depending on how much you are playing as it is very time consuming playing tournaments. This is different to pros as theirs is a work schedule although often different to regular hours. But I am sure this can cause arguments if you are not dedicating enough time to your other half.

Yes, pretty often unfortunately

I play tournaments which last for hours and there is like only 5 minutes break every hour and it's not as you can simply close the game like the cash games, so I find myself stuck by the computer.

I currently live alone. But when I lived with my girlfriend, we actually never had any conflicts about my passion for poker. My girlfriend always found something to do when I played in my daily favorite tournaments.
