Drugs and Poker

I know a lot of players play while being high on coke or weed.

I wonder if it changes the way they play. Maybe while high you play more in tune with the villains raises and on coke you might be more aggresive. IDK. what do you guys think?

I don't know about like real drugs and better decision making, but if you got trouble focusing, being alert and thoughtful try vitamins. Eat fruit or drink juice pre-session or during. And Omega 3, it's overpowered drug that makes your memory and brain work better.

Depends for what purpose you use weed for and what kind of person you are, I think using other (hard) drugs might have a short positive effect, but the long term negatives probably don't weight up against it.

I think any drugs and alcohol is not good for the game. If you play in evening to just relax and have fun then yes, poker night with beer and fun will take place. But if you igraesh seriously then you need to leave the mind clear. Many poker profesional players meditate before an important tournament.

I smoke legal (in my state) high grade medical marijuana all day does it cause me to play worse. Yes if i smoke too much i get anxious and excited its harder to grind , if i dont smoke chances are im sick and in bed so i take what i can get . But yeah as good as it is for my health the weed hurts my poker game overall

Unless for medical purposes I cannot see the need for drugs for any reason. Maybe I am old school and old but I have got through my life very well without even thinking about using.

I don't think Heroin users would find a positive effect in either the short or long term, Passed out on the keyboard is not a good strategy.

When I used to smoke weed it never gave me a clear mind, the whole idea about smoking weed is to get a foggy mind.
