i think durrrr's real edge in this is the fact that he is asking for 4 tables minimum. durrr is a pretty sick multitabler and from what i know, ivey doesnt play more than 1 HU table at a time and neither benyamine or antonius can play that many tables and keep playing their A game

He has to have records from all of his online play and see that he's clearly been ahead of these guys after hundreds of thousands of hands. I think he's smart enough to know what he's doing in offering this bet.

So if by wins just as much you mean loses 1 million while durrr has won over 6M, then yeah he's won as much.

I will bet any amount of money that If you ask any pro player would they rather be known as a great cash player or someone who won a lot of WSOP Titles, they would say WSOP.

I really doubt that, at least today. The WSOP ME especially has thousands and thousands of entrants. Even the best player in the entire world would probably only cash once in a thousand at BEST. Harrington described big tournaments as lotteries where the better players and pros get more tickets. So you're saying they'd rather be remembered as winning a lottery than winning in cash games against the best players around? Yeah, sure.

As I pointed out earlier, a wsop bracelet is a prestigious thing.
Cash games are a card players bread n butter

not saying that there are not successful poker players that make a living from tournaments, sure you get sng specialists and players that cash in tourneys consistently enough to make a decent enough living. But thats not something you could do with the wsop. No one will ever be a sufficently consistent wsop player - whereas the boys that are playing for big cash games are just that.

I think Durrr surely has the edge against anybody accepts his challenge. I think Ivey has the best shot though, imo.

Durr is just trying to get his name out there and get some of the sweet deals and fame some of the tv guys are getting. And maybe pick up some cash in the meantime. Saying his play sucks is like saying Daniel Negreanu sucks because he plays loose preflop. The results speak for themselves in both cases.

Looking at the numbers I'd say there are a few players who could win the bet if they have the bankroll to take him up and can handle the multi-tabling.

OMGClayAiken freaks me out a little but only because of his username.

the 1.5mil isnt going to matter if he drops 6 or 8 mil in the first 2 matches

he stated that he was waiting to turn 21, then when he did he was at all the big tourneys

he could make that much money staying at home, playing the nosebleeds online, so something drives him to fly around the world playing in nerve racking donkaments

doubt it about the last part, during wsop time the online nosebleeds will be empty, so the side games at the wsop are where the nosebleed cash players go

what about all the stories of all the players sitting in the motel lobbies with their laptops?

also what about all the guys that bust on day 1 and have to wait for the next tourney?

i think that if anything the online games may be at least equal during the major tourneys

during the pca, tons of players were playing on stars (the major tourneys)
