I just checked FT's durrrr-Antonius page and it says durrrr has won close to $150,000. If only the day comes when I can consider $150K to be "a little"!

Just watched about an hour of them both muti-tabling. Ivey spanking him bad in the Thunderdome heads up, Ivey up over $700K and also getting best of him on Gus Hansens $500/$1000 HA table. Hate to say it but despite his past record, he looks like he bit off more than he can chew.

Well that game at the Thunderdome finished just a while back. Durrrr's finishing position was ......... "sit out" saying gg to Ivey.
Ivey's finishing position was ...... just over $1M saying thx to durrrr.

been watching durrrr play antonius ever since i picked up this months bluff magazine. from what i seen durrrr has been owning him. he seems to be making his decisions alot faster than patrick too, which means patrick is the one having to think more. don't think anybody is going to beat this guy online the way the challenge is set up. live i think there are many better, but thats not the challenge.

If Durr is so good why is this a 4 table at a time online challenge and not live around a table? I understand onliner's multi-table to generate more action and more money at a given level in a shorter amount of time but there is no level above what these guys play and they can set the limits as high as they want for a single session so what is the purpose of 4 tabling here ? Is it because Durr respects the live gamers like Helmuth's, Antonius, etc, abilities at single hands/ single session analysis more then his own and thinks they will play worse distracted by three other tables and he needs that edge thinking he can play more bot like then they can ? Just wondering...rip it apart...

Because durrr believes that playing 4 tables gives him an edge over the other players, because he is laying 3 to 1 odds and because it is durrr's challenge to issue anyhow he wants. If someone wants the 3 to 1 odds then they need to accept the conditions of the chalenge.

So this is not about durrr saying that he is the best live player or about him wanting to play a single table at the highest possible stakes imaginable. It is him believing he has an edge playing 4 tables of HU poker online against the best players in the world.

Not that he's the definitive odds maker, but Mike Matusow recently went on record as saying Tom had "lost [his] f*cking mind" making this bet and that his ego would eventually break him. I tend to agree.

What made it interesting is that he also mentioned that Tom is one of the most talented poker players he ever knew and that he very much liked him, so it was saying it to be spiteful. He just truly believed Tom was in for a world of hurt.

Tom's skill is undoubtedly great, but his ego has led him to a bet he cannot win. Oh, he may win a match or two, but long term against the likes of Ivey and PA, there's no chance he has a 3-1 edge even four tabling. I find it astonishing that so many are naive enough to believe otherwise... I belive it clearly shows the degree of idolization to which his fans are subject.

Then again, WTHDIK.

He does not need a 3-1 edge, this isn't about Dwan being 3 times better than everyone else. All that needs to happen for him to be successful in the challenge is to be up by $1 or more after playing 50,000 hands of poker at a minimum level of $200/$400.

So once again just because he is laying 3-1 odds he does not need a 3-1 edge, as quite a small edge over 50,000 hands will suffice.

durrrr dropped over $900K to Ivy. That's gotta hurt the bankroll.

Btw it looks like ftp finally fixed the bugs in their status page including the hand scale on their graph, and they added a decent hand replayer too.

Honestly what hours do they play because I never see them. One thing i dont get is on the FT stats page, durrrr has won more than Antonius has lost. I don't really see how that happens unless rake is calculated into the winnings.

of course rake is included in the winnings / losses they display.

Is it proven that guy is Luke Schwartz? His chat is pretty tilting though he seems to be crushing.

It seems like a pretty damn risky bet even tho he has millions. Durrr has been losing quite a bit recently and with his 1.5 to anyones .5M its gonna be tough for him to come out on top. Highstakesdb shows him up a little over 100k vs Antonius after 4.1k hands or so, but he can lose that in a hand or two. Could get exciting at the end.

yes he is Luke Schwartz. In his facebook profile he wrote something like "FullFlush unstopable".
But his chat is banned lately so most of the fun is gone:(
