The U.K. has a tax treaty exemption for gambling winnings with the US. If you provide a W-8BEN form you won’t have any winnings withheld. You don’t need the apply for a ITIN if you provide your tax number on the W-8BEN. You still of course have to report your winnings on your Country’s tax return.
