I tell you what i got lucky my qife yells at me when i dont play poker and be lazy hahahaha. All i had to show her was the possibilities of money and of course had to win a few to show i was an alright player lol. It can be difficult because gambling is frowned upon by lot of people who dont realize poker is more skill than luck.

While I might agree that you probably play a bit too much, her statement is just the first step down a slipperly slope, my friend. Forget about the money because it isn't about the money it's about the time and your choice of how you choose to use yours. I'd stand my ground personally. Sometimes there are principalities involved man! Just my humble opinion.

All the best of luck in the relationship. It seems to me to any reasonable person you did an amazing job of explaining how things work to someone who is not familliar. (Congrats on your winnings BTW). Maybe the issue is more personal with the amount of time you spend maybe she will feel that time spending is not enough. While this is none of my business all I can recommend is spending quality time with her on the weekend to make her forget all about that poker.

Also spending a LITTLE bit of your BR (hahahah) on something special may incept her mind with POKER IS OKAY! ..... as long as you keep the winnings coming hahahaha JKJK
