I like to play poker at night, because that's when I can dedicate myself 100%. During other times of the day my concentration is dissipated, as I have to carry out several tasks that take my mind off the online poker game.

Personally, I like playing late in the evening, but not too late into the “brain-off” hours 😄 That’s when I feel more focused, and the tables usually have a nice mix of serious players and a few action lovers who make things interesting.
I definitely agree that the player pool changes throughout the day. Mornings feel calmer and more predictable, while nights can turn into a rollercoaster – more loose calls, bigger bluffs, and sometimes pure chaos (in a fun way).
So yeah, timing really matters. Choosing when you play is almost part of the strategy itself.

Good morning, everyone. I started playing poker at the end of 2018, so I now have 7 years of experience. In my experience, playing at night tends to be easier for the following reasons: most of the players who play at night have regular jobs during the day and, when they get home, they play just to relax, as a hobby. They are not usually professional players. The professionals typically start around 10 a.m. and grind all day long. That’s why, in my opinion, nighttime games are softer, especially in micro-stakes cash games.

I usually prefer to play after 10 PM and up to about 1 AM. By that time all the home tasks are done, the kids are asleep, and I’m not tired enough to go to bed yet. It’s the perfect quiet moment to play — almost like a form of meditation. And yes, the player pool definitely feels more relaxed and unpredictable during these late hours.

19:00 local time Greece . Generally n the afternoon. At the worst early at night . Unfortunately most games start late night , and if they are tourneys they keep on untill the morning . Very hard if you work in the morning .

The day or time of day doesn't really matter to me. But it just so happens that I mainly play in the evenings and at night, because the tournaments I'm interested in don't take place in the morning or during the day.
