FWIW Belgo I'm still about $400 in the hole playing 25nl since 2009 began I think. DB is on the broken pc so I can't check.

But I like this thing where you play a few tables and after an hour you see that number in your cashier go up. It's interesting and new.

Also second hand played of the warmup is lol turn card:

MP1: 9,925 (198.5 bb)
MP2: 11,625 (232.5 bb)
MP3: 9,275 (185.5 bb)
CO: 9,925 (198.5 bb)
Hero (BTN): 10,425 (208.5 bb)
SB: 9,825 (196.5 bb)
BB: 9,000 (180 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is BTN with 5:diamond: 5:club:
3 folds, CO raises to 150, Hero calls 150, 2 folds

Flop: (375) T:heart: 9:spade: T:diamond: (2 players)
CO bets 250, Hero raises to 700, CO calls 450

Turn: (1,775) 5:spade: (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets 1,000, CO raises to 3,000, Hero raises to 9,575 and is all-in, CO folds

Results: 7,775 pot
Hero mucked 5:diamond: 5:club: (a full house, Fives full of Tens) and won 7,775 (3,925 net)

should I flat his turn C/R ?

22k atm, 430/3000

Was down to 5k before break, doubled with QJ vs TT (phew) picked off some small pots and took a shortstacker QQ vs Ax.
Just took another shortstacker KK vs A9. AKx flop

Let's do this!

But a long way to go yet.

Even the smallest cash is great for me. $14 for $350 return would be nice. And anything from 1k and above would be teh awesome ldo

Can anyone give me ranges for what is high, normal, and low for stats like 3bet, Limp/call, WTSD, steal...and maybe even Cbet/ fold to Cbet? I was thinking of color coding more of the stats in my HUD.

For six-max, I'd say it's around these numbers:

3bet
Low: 0-5%
Normal: 5-8%
High: 8%+

Limp/call: Uh. I don't know. I don't bother with what's high and low, I just automatically raise them if their limp/call% is lower than 50%. In six-max, it's virtually never the case that good players open-limp, and the few times they overlimp are probably not common enough to get a good idea from.

WTSD
Low: 0-20%
Normal: 20-30
High: 30%+

Steal
Low: 0-25%
Normal: 25-40%
High: 40%+

Cbet
Low: 0-60%
Normal: 60-80%
High: 80%+

Fold-to-cbet
Low: 0-50%
Normal: 50-65%
High: 65%+

really pretty similar for everything except the 3bet stats are more like:

0-2% low
3-4% normal
5-6% high
7%+ very high

imo

The lag on stars is tilting me... off to do some other things, will be back

+8 BI for the weekend so far =)

Just curious... I know this is a very standard BR question, but how many $100 NL buyins would you want to have before you took a shot? I'm debating how conservative I want to be with it.

I am far from reaching 100nl, but I anticipate that when the day comes I'd like at least 40 BI's. I'm very nitty BR wise, but this is the bare minimum that I would be comfortable with. I think it's all about what is comfortable for you.

If I was just moving up and not planning on going back to 50NL I would want 30 for FR and 40 for 6max, however if you plan on mixing in 50NL and 100NL for a little while I would be comfortable with around 25-30.

I used about 35 as my limit. But it's mostly about feeling comfortable at the next level. If you have 2nd thoughts about shipping a $100 stack because you believe you're 55/45 ahead, you won't be playing your best poker. It's fine mixing both levels or moving back and forth to get used to the upper one without losing the proper aggressivity, imo.

It all comes down to how comfortable you are. If you're comfortable in winning I'd be fine with a 25-20 type shot but it can't hurt to be a bit more conservative. Also I do like mixing it in or if you don't mix I would do less tables of the higher limit.

Thanks for the replies you guys...

I think I'm going to make myself stay disciplined and try and get up to ~30 first but I'll just say I have enough to consider taking a shot now.

Combu made a fairly convincing case for his not being able to do it (the cheeky scamp of a hustler that he is)...

...I'm not feeling the same about your good self Chuck... seems too routine so far to be worth a gambol
