first '1-outer'

Haaaaaaaahahaha. I feel kinda bad about this but i've just 1 outered an opponent for the first time ever! (I think- only one I can remember)
I had pocket 3's in the cut off, facing a min raise from early position so called. Flopped 3 5 K rainbow. My opponent shoved so I snap called......trip K's vs trip Deuces. WHOOPS.
Spiked a 3 on the river for my beautiful quads.
Opponent wasn't happy but I think I made the right move given the board. Plus his min raise was begging to be called.
This isn't a brag, I hate when it happens, just a reminder that bad beats work both ways! lol.
Its not like I was calling light and hoping to catch up, I thought I had the best hand looking at the board, just walked into a better hand and got very lucky.
One day i'll learn how to import hand histories, till then you'll have to just take my word for my lucky bast*rd-ness. About time my luck changed anyway!

Wait till you get one-outered. Couple of days ago my set of 9's got beat by under quads (basically the opposite of what happened to you ). I can't wait till I put that hurt on someone else

I've been 1 outered more times than I can count. Well ok, a couple anyway.
Feels so sh*ty, but the odd times you pull one back after seeing your a mile behind when you get the cards on their backs, it makes up for it (nearly!).
As I said, this wasn't me shoving and sucking out with rags, I did genuinely think he was gonna show me AK.
Meh, I can put the beat on the freeroll heroes with the best of 'em!

Folding sets is dumb my friend, especially on non flushing boards, you played it correctly. It was more of a vent on my part lol

well to be honest its bound to happen at some point but yh One outer are sick and horrible same hand happened to me except i was on the receiving end unfortunately so my trip kings got hit on the river by quad 3s but thats poker nice hand.
