Although I myself like to cook and cook quite well, cooking is generally my girlfriend's job. During the game, I eat what she cooks for me. But if my girlfriend is at work, I can order pizza or burgers.

I loathe getting the cards or the mouse dirty. So, I usually settle for having a drink.
But if I decide to eat something like, for example, snacks, I use a spoon to do it .

Eating a lot, or heavy food, can affect your game cause digestion comes with energy consumption, so you get lazy and distracted.
I dont eat in short sessios, but o a very long tournaments, i rung and grab a snack in the breaks...

No, I don't eat when I play online poker. Very rarely I can have a light snack, but only when I have no energy at all and only when there is a 5 minute break at the poker table. But I must say that when I'm fed, I play better.

I usually eat Granola bars or similar, like Clif or Power bars. They satisfy hunger better than most other options and your fingers don't need to touch the food. Also they're quiet.

In my opinion food should't be allowed on tables. Since it is allowed, you can eat but should't be taking part in the game. It looks embarrassing since you are making cards sticky.
