I'm honestly confused about the OP's original post. None of this is new. There have been bots (albeit poor ones) colluding, multiaccounting etc since the beginning of online poker as far as I can tell. When I played the first time around 2001-2003 I know that these were common complaints, issues. I think its just gets more attention now due to sites like PTR as well as the 2+2 diehards who are bringing it to light more often.

Whenever there is money to be made at something some people will try to find ways to steal it.
