I have 5 packs for my home game I host and 5 different brands, I like them all. I guess the most recognizable brand would be bicycle

Copag 100% plastic cards are my personal favourites, but you can't go wrong with Kem either.

It's the 100% plastic bit that's important for poker - the constant shuffling and handling puts a lot of wear and tear on the cards so you'll find paper cards start to fray at the edges very quickly and become hard to shuffle. Plus they mark really easily. Going 100% plastic avoids those issues.

Oz pretty much nailed it, especially when you get that one person at a game who ruins the cards by bending the shit out of them as soon as you open a new deck of non plastic cards.

Have heard the copag's are good, but never used them. I do have two decks of the pokerstars cards though I got one time, and those are nice .... so you could always probably look at getting them through pokerstars via fpps :D

playing cards

I train dealers for casinos. The cards that I use, and the cards that the wsop will be using again this year is Copag. Bridge size, large index. They come in 2 pack set ups. Get a couple of set ups. Don't forget some bottom cards too.

I still like the bicycle cards. Have multiple decks and a shuffler and the game flies along.

I am soooooooooo glad they are bringing Copag back to WSOP, the Modiano cards were a complete disaster last year

OP, these cards are pretty expensive, buying just one or two sets will run you about $15 each, so be ready for that, but they are best cards in the WORLD!

DO NOT, I repeat - DO NOT buy a shuffler for a home game, the cheap ones will make you cry, and the good ones will make you broke

I order a set from Amazon and the quality is the same as copag. I compare both of them. Rest to know the durability.

I use a Вicycle for daily game of bridge and poker a few hundred hands. Quality is very happy, and the deck is enough for a long time. For the price they are half the price

I recommend KEM. The ones I bought over 10 years ago still hold up. They are flexible, water resistant hard to bend and shuffle like butter.
