Grinding the Circuit

Any fellow CC members have ant tips about travel, food, lodging for someone who plans to travel a little to play poker? Deals on food? Rental cars or rooms? Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

I would assume by your name you are from texas and it is cool to see fellow texans in these rooms. It is going to cost a lot of money. Also most places and hotels have deals for people coming to play in their tournaments. Last year I played in the card player poker series and its fall tournament series and they had discounted rates for the rooms. I hope you go out there and do well. Go Texas

yeah i agree with regh it will cost money not only to play, but also to travel around and pay for all the other expenses.. would be interesting to hear if anyone on here does do anything like that

Pretty sure the vast majority of guys traveling the circuit are being staked. The variance in tournies is unreal, by having a stable you can reduce that some.

I'm not sure if backers pay travel and hotel expenses for horses, but my guess would be not.

anyone using main event travel? see them all over fb and also they have a stand at all tournis it seems.
