Have you ever lost AA88 with that hand
It's because that hand is unlucky.
Because in the 1890s there was a man who was playing a hand of poker he was shot in the back of the head and when he fell silent in his hand there was an AA88.

That’s a hilarious superstition about poker. I’ve heard that Wild Bill Hickok was shot dead with a “Dead Man’s Hand” of aces and eights, but the precise details of the encounter, as well as the suits of the cards, are actually disputable.
Nevertheless, I know that even if I got a hand of AA88, I would not fold it just because some dead man from the 19th century told me to do so in his will 😂🃏
