Not really. I only take one at a time (60mg). I don't drink a lot of water. I am not one of those people who is constantly worried about hydration. I am generally not in an air conditioned environment in the Summer. In the Winter, the air inside is always very dry, but I rarely take the pills in the Winter. I drink a lot of beer. :beer:

EDIT: I just noticed you asked about diphenhydramine and not pseudoephedrine. I only take the diphenhydramine when I am about to go to sleep. I don't know how thirsty they may make me.

LOL this is a funny thread. I'm assuming by "intelligence pills" you're talking about Adderol or something like that...

I think that's silly if people go out to get this specifically for poker. I was prescribed that stuff when I was in college to help me concentrate in class and pull all-nighters when I had a big project, and I honestly don't think that those drugs would even improve my poker game, no more than a cup of coffee would anyway....

I used to be have an adderall script but never played while on it. I have produced a song on adderall before lol it really helps with workflow so I imagine it could help decision making in poker.

friend, do not believe in doping to play poker, or you are good and can read and be aware of the game and that each player can do during the game or you just play with luck and will not advance pills or other adjectives that will make You're a winner.

Not certain but I don't think glycine falls under the category of doping though. Those are supplements like fish oil if I'm correct.

Preference to me is to not take any substances during play, but wait till afterwards then splurge on whatever intoxicants I want lol. Usually works out better for me in the long run that way at the felt.

I do not need doping to play poker. I get real pleasure from the game, so I do not need any additional stimulants. For me, the best stimulus is sport.

I think that playing sports and reading books will be the best option for improving concentration and increasing the level of intelligence !!! Moreover, it will be more stable and long-term option than tablets !!!

Actually I have found that alprazolam is a powerful drug if you suffer any anxiety during a live game, but it is addictive. I guess if you used it infrequently it could help you. Getting your dosing correct might prove tricky.

Nootropics are mostly supplements but sometimes drugs that are used to increase mental focus. I am experimenting with Bacopa extract in combination with Rhodiola Rosea and Magnesium Threonate. The Bacopa seems to increase focus.

Any Topping is bad because if in a common sense a person plays not ahty then dope will not help but if you have mind clarity mind then mind or rather brain works better who yes in blood normal sugar concentration for this well suited chocolate especially Chess players love chocolate, vitamins all possible take a tablet complex, and keep the stomach half-starved as a student then the brain will look for where to eat hence earn, and drugs do not try to become a junkie

I have never tried taking pills that increase attention, and have not even thought about it. I think such things can only be done by players who are sitting all night long in a casino or at home at a computer at cash tables waiting for fishes.

Well I hear many say that Being stoned makes them play bad, or even other players sy they look at the stoner types to be easy targets after they come back from their smoke break. lol

Let me tell you something, that might be the case with some people, but not everyone.

I stay lit and I play my best poker stoned.

I do not use it, but I believe it can bring benefits in the short term, increasing your focus and concentration.
But the price to be paid in the long run is very expensive, greatly harming your health, and so I think it is not worth it.
