Have you ever folded a RF pre flop?

I just folded 10cQc pre flop and would have made a royal flush if I had stayed in. I've never seen anyone make a RF and I've been playing for a long time now. Pretty cool just to see that I could have had one

I have been playing for 62 years and have never had one. My three daughters have all had them. The odds in texas holdem are 1 /312,000 and i have played many times that number of hands and give myself every chance the get one.

You can`t fold a royal flush `preflop` impossible !!!

But like all of us, I have done the right thing, folded poor hands preflop and watched them turn into monsters post flop.

I guess there are a lot of good starting hands u have folded to raises and reraises possibly AQsuited in middle position, that missed the flop by a mile and if u had pushed with this u would have lost a fortune?

Probably once a day (it seems like) I fold a hand that turns into a royal

most of the time it is only one card in my hand and 4 hit the board

I have, Jh and 2c...........flop came AhQ10s Turn 10H river Kh.
It was a monster hand too as AA met 1010 and all I could do was tell myself....."It was the right move", Didnt help the sting much though.

Side note: I have had one other RF and it was at a Omaha game. To date I have never had a better than a K high straight flush

Can't say that I ever 'flopped' a Royal, but have had a few in almost 40 years of playing. Every once in a while in nlhe, but more in 7 stud since that's what I have played more of except for the last few years online.

Always an exciting hand to see.

Almost all the ones I have folded come from one card in my hand..

Say I folded Qs 2d 10sJsKsAs is on the board

I think I folded K10 suited once when AArag flopped and turn +river gave me a royal

Its a pisser but I know I made the right move 9/10 times when I fold it. Just like folding 73o preflop and 337 flops. It sucks but was the right move

Ive actually had three online royal flushes in my life online and have folded some pre flop as well... ya cant play em all though lol.:smile:

I flopped a royal once....A10 of spades....flop JQK spades...guy bluffed off all his chips to me. Just recently i hit a Q high straight flush vs. 4 queens. was gonna take a screenshot for you guys but the table closed as soon as the hand was over. I've had a ton of str8 flushes but just that one royal

we had a scavenger hunt last year and you had to get certain hands during the hunt and we had about 10 royal flushes , had to be in hold em too no Omaha ones . got beat at final table by an unneeded one not to long back . there out there

On fulltilt ive hit 1 royal Flush while playing omaha for money...ive also hit a str8 flush for money playing omaha...for play chips ive had atleast 3 more str8 flushes..and countless quads...

I have seen two in live games, once while i was in the pot, and it was severely slow played to the point there was no callers when they finally chose to bet after the dead river card, they still showed, wouldn't you?

I actually had two Royals last month. One of them I was able to post on here and the other happened about a week before. I think the HH is in the brags and beats forum.

I've actually had 7 Royals but this is the first one where i only had one card in hand.

I've played very little live poker, but have seen a royal flush live. The same guy had quads next hand.

I've had one royal flush online (didn't bet it enough) and I had a king-high straight flush earlier today.

I was playing 5 card draw with my step brother once and I dealt out and he didn't want any cards. I took 2 or 3 and then bet against him with pocket 10's and he went all in. We were playing penny poker so I called and he showed me a "dealt" royal of diamonds. It was pretty cool to see it with real cards laid out in front of me.

Ever since I was dealt

at the very 1st CC FR on the very 1st hand of the tourny I EVER played in (all checked to me and I checked too) and then

were flopped, I just GOTTA look!

BUT, no no avail!

That was the one and ONLY straight flush to the Ace (what I prefer to call it!) Although I HAVE gotten quite a few STRAIGHT flushes, I havn't gotten any more Royals to date, either!

Only had one Royal Flush in my life & it was my first month of playing.

Never missed one by folding either. My biggest miss via laydown was folding A3s in EP to a 4x raise to watch a flop of AAA.

That hurt.
