I gave up along time ago online. I started playing when I was homeless living at my grandmas with my mom n hopes to help my mom pay the bills. I started playing and taking the game very seriously. I read 2 books on poker one on cash games and the other on tournaments and had also played zynga for years before and was raised in the Las vegas/Toronto poker seen from a young age.

I knew it was possible to play poker for a living because my previous step dad was a professional poker player... mind you he lost almost everything he ever put online.... including myself same story and many others if not everyone... hince the reason I tell people not to give anymore money to these sites.... They've been ripping people off for years and if you seen the results of playing at a casino vs playing online.... you to would be exposing these for what they're too. Hince the reason I tell people the make massive long shot bets for 20k-80k in hopes they win big, aswell as many others.... **** these clowns over for 50000x times more then they're screwing they're customers. I did this with the last two dollars I had years back on partypoker made 3000 dollars from a multi bet... my last screw you, before leaving partypoker for good. All these sites are the same... nothings fair brother.
Credibility = 0
I'm pretty sure the story about your step dad is about the same as the rest of your stories.

fwiw James (who gave up along time ago online) played 490 tournaments on Pokerstars in the month of March 2023. All of them were freerolls, he cashed for a total of 'ZERO' ($0.00).

James...
'or'
you could just consider learning how to play.

I have seen the emotions and feelings of the players change at the poker table. I have noticed more than once how at different moments I myself was in seventh heaven with happiness, then in complete despondency. I saw how people fail and get into huge debts. Playing poker is like a roller coaster. It makes you feel both elated and depressed. Poker brings out the best and worst in every player at the table.Everyone makes their own decision to play or quit.

Yes, these thoughts pop into my head from time to time. But if you like the game, then sooner or later you will come back to play

Have you ever thought about giving up on poker because you keep losing? I believe that many times we are not focused enough to win. Poker is a strategic game, and if we play it in the long run, we will certainly succeed. Who has ever thought about quitting halfway through and stop playing?
Yes many times, longest I have actually quit has been 24hrs , normally it last an hour and I am back playing.

I have experienced losing streaks in poker, but I never considered giving up. Instead, I analyze my mistakes and try to improve my strategy. I believe perseverance and dedication are key to success in poker

I've never deposited money on sites, i only played money i won on freerolls.
Inlive poker usually i win more than i lose, but even if not, i can afford to part that money, this is the first rule of gambling.

No, I didn't think so. It's just that when I get tired of him, I take a break from him.

Although poker is quite time-consuming, I never thought of giving up playing. Poker is great entertainment, so I always enjoy spending my free time playing in my favorite tournaments.

I've answered this question several times, today I'll answer differently. When I come back from a live game, and I sit down in front of the computer, I think, why do I continue to play online, then the answer comes, Poker is my Fun and my Hobby, I meet my friends there (even not keeping in direct contact), I can learn a little of each. good luck, hugs

Yes, sometimes after a few Bad Beats in a row, I think about not playing anymore, but not for long, a few hours later or the next evening I'm back in the game.😁

As a long time winning micro/low stakes player not seriously no. I have been mad/angry enough to say f**k poker, break a mouse or two and even take a break now and again. Always know I'll be be back in a couple weeks to a month at most after all no reason to give up making free/extra money. Now after so many years I rarely ever get mad/upset much anymore about the variance or bad beats.

Cheers!!!

It never crossed my mind to stop playing poker. I wouldn't want to throw away so many years of practice and study. I don't think I'll ever stop playing poker, it's something I love.

No, I never thought of giving up playing poker. Sometimes, I may take a break, for a week, two, or even a month, but in general I always know that I will return to my favorite game.
