It's never happened to me, but sometimes I play like you're not looking at my cards, haha.

Many times, but in live game.
Online you see your cards right away, except on GG where they have the option to get your cards dealt face down, but I don't do it. In live games, after a while at the table, you get to see and know people, so it becomes easier.

I may have called a 5-6BB all-in from the big blind once live. If I remember correctly, I won it with some trashy hand.

Nope, it’s difficult enough losing with the best cards at the best of times!

Today I took first place in a tournament where everyone automatically goes all-in. It's a tournament of luck, so it's like playing with your eyes closed.

Вы когда-нибудь выигрывали раздачу, не глядя на свои карты?
Для меня это произошло один раз, когда у противника остался 1 BB.
Playing “in the dark” (without looking at your cards) is a well-known psychological and educational technique, but it is a very bad idea for making money

I tried the Annette deal with the sticky note covering your card, combined with a hud its a great learning tool.

It forces you to look at your opponents tendencies and look to counter them.

Its also a great way to quiz your icm, you cover your cards and say what cards you would shove and then remove the sticky. Then after the game you can review your play for icm errors.

If I have won, it just requires a lot of encouragement and welcome.

For me 1 time when the opponent have 1 BB left
Of course, it all depends on the situation. If your opponent has a 1 blind, then whatever your hand is, you have to play. But in general, it must be admitted that knowing what cards you have will probably help you make more informed decisions :)

Yes I have also done that with an opponent with 1 or 2 BB.

And of course occasionally I get a walk when I am the BB and no callers leaves me with the pot preflop.

Players at the table have asked me what cards I had and I tell them I did not look, what does it matter?

Many times from the bb when no one bets. Other times if I have a huge chip lead (90% or more of the chips) heads up at the final table , I will bet all in blind.
At that point they have to win 3 straight hands to take the chip lead. The odds 8 to 1 against doing that. If at any time I am behind in chips I revert to regular strategy.

Yes, it happens more often than people think, especially in live games. There are situations where position, table image, and opponent tendencies matter so much that the actual cards become almost irrelevant. If you know an opponent is capable of folding and the board or betting line strongly favors your story, you can take down a pot purely with pressure and timing. That said, doing it deliberately without ever looking is more of a novelty than a strategy; consistently winning still requires solid fundamentals, even if the occasional blind bluff makes for a great story.

Quite often, yes, it's a good exercise. Not knowing your cards forces you to pay more attention to bet sizes, patterns, opponents perceived hand strength. Sometimes knowing your own hand strength, or lack thereof, can be a psychological disadvantage and can lead to incorrect action. You might fold a hand even when your opponent hasn't shown any strength and might fold to a jamb, or you might call down with 2nd or 3rd pair thinking you have showdown value even when the villain is repping a stronger hand.

I don't recommend doing this as a rule but I do recommend trying it a few times at low stakes. It really forces you to play solid poker and gets you out of the ABC rut. When you feel comfortable with it you can then apply the same line to your normal game and start crushing.

A word of caution. Don't try this in early position or multi way pots, you need to get heads up. The best positions are BTN, SB, BB and CO.

Only when I've been forced to shove because I only had a BB remaining and figured why not wait and see what happened
