I've used it quite a few times (as has my g/f).  I think there's alot of times when you'd want to consider using the 'deal' feature.
sidenote... it's an awesome feature as you can go by ICM right there for ya..... OR you can adjust the numbers to who you'd like it to be.  How can you beat that?
 
I've even used it for SNG play.  Sometimes in a SNG (even an STT)... the bubble will go for a very long time & blinds GET HUGE!!!  By the time you get to HeadsUP, when you're both on ~10bb (300/600, even 250/500), if you're both good players (ie. you have no edge.. villain isn't shoving too tight, etc.).. then a chop is cooll because it's a complete gamble then anyways.   I'd be more apt to use it for larger field obviously, but was just giving an example of when I've considered using it even in an STT. (45plyr sng, blinds huge, close to even Stacks HeadsUP when it's shove/fold... I'd be happy to take  $141.75 instead of goin' out on a badbeat with $112.... not all the time obv. BUT some of the time for sure).
 
In larger MTT's, the money can be significantly different between the top few spots & and a chop is always a good thing.... you can always leave some to play for (& sometimes you have to leave some to play for).
