hi all,
just been reading about collusion and cheating in online poker.
it seems to me, if you are going to play for money, then
heads up seems to be the 'safest' game to play.
i can't think of any way to cheat playing heads up unless
you are playing against a pokerbot.
any more than two players and collusion is possible.
are there any 'known' ways of cheating at heads up ?

OK, aside from letting someone you don't know/trust extremely well, there isn't much of a way to cheat in online HU poker

(unless they hack your computer, lol)

Interesting and very good idea. Of course, cheating is always a possibility, opponent and poker room. I always thought that large MTT's were a good bet. The colluders would have to end up at the same table to cheat.

There 'may' be a story on UB and Absolute Poker as well. 2 of the dirtiest words in poker in my opinion.

'Colluders' in the typical sense of the meaning, however there's been many documented cases of online rings where players will pass their tourney off to a better player once they're deep in it.

Personally I don't worry about it much at all. Sure if I see some stuff that seems suspect I'll check into it (& of course if it's blatant I'll contact support). Have had a few situations in STT/SNG where players were obviously colluding & support took care of it. Typically though it rarely ever crosses my mind while playing (maybe once or twice a yr.?)

Moving to HU sng or HU cash would not be a choice I'd be making based on fear of colluders. I'd only be playing those formats if it was what I desired to play.

Why? I mean if they're playing HU cash table & obviously to transfer $'s to other's acc't.,.... who cares? Why report them?
I realize it's against TOS but who does it harm? (hence > why report them?)

Huh? Does this insinuate that we need to do stuff in other tournaments?

Doubt you watched the vid. above from the poster who made a reference to Facebook poker. It's actually pretty funny. "mute.. mute.. mute!!!"

Transferring Money from player to player - I don't think that's Collusion either ....
Against poker sites Rules, but not collusion IMO.

+1

Why Report that that has no negative effect on another player?
