Did he lose a bet or was it a publicity stunt?

I think he acts like that to put people on tilt. I bet he is really a nice guy. He knows people will call him (or bet into him) just to make him explode and they can say they busted Phil.

no Phil Helmuth does not act like this to provoke a reaction. Phil is high functioning autism/asperger trust me I'm familiar with it and a lot of the signs are there. as for this its either an attention grabbing/seeking attempt, a lost bet or a prop bet.
