High Stakes Poker - TV Show

Has anyone seen this show on GSN? Instead of tournaments they play cash games. lot of big names. pretty interesting,

oh and the best part, gabe kaplen does the commentary

9pm (EST & PST) on Mondays is the fresh episode, but they replay them at different times the rest of the week.

Pretty cool seeing Daniel N. tossing bricks of cash in the pot.

Are you talkin about king of vegas or the one on GSN?

In my opinion King of Vegas SUCKS!!! Looks very rewritten for tv and acted out. Not like WPT or anything at all.

I saw commericals for it. It has big names in poker like Doyle Brunson and Daniel Negreau to name a few. I never see it because it's on a Monday and that's when I play my weekly poker tournament.

I believe the initial showing is on Fridays at 8:00 or 9:00 on GSN and the episode on Monday is actually the replay. I caught the last 10mins on Friday but I will be watching tonight even though I know the ending. There is one clown on there that makes it worthwhile to watch, he puts everyone on tilt.

That King Of Vegas does look bad but unfortunatly I will have to watch it.

Id love to see pros play cash games. tourneys are so much different then ring. What is GSN, Do i have it on my basic cable(70 channels)?

I saw the show and it was interesting. The only thing was that i think that they were showing too many wins by Daniel Negraneau. I think that they should of showed more pots with Doyle Brunson, Jenifer Harmen and Ted Forest. I know they showed a few hands with them, but I found that they showed Daniel Negraneau too much. Good show though. Kind of exciting seeing real money being thrown on the table in big bundles.

GSN used to be call "The Game Show Network" and you can look in your cable directory to see if you get it.

The table consist of Daniel N. Doyle B., jennifer H. a dude name alaeri, Ted forrest, an amateur with cash lol nasseri he be a OB/GYN LOL, greenstein, Jerry Buss I might have missed one but the action is preety wicked Daniel N. is the bully LOL came to the table with Million dollars cash last I saw was T. Forrest gettin whooped on an all-in, flop was like 6 5 2 forrest hit low trips but the doctor hit mid trips 5s and went all in forrest called and bang down, than he digs in his pocket and pulls out 2-50.000 chips to be continued next session.

I finally saw it last night. I can't even fathom the amount of cash they are throwing around. If I lose $100 at the local Indian casino, I am bummed out! Good show though. And the commentary wasn't bad, either.

Have to agree with you guys I enjoyed the show. For once it wasn't the big hands but hands that we normally get at poker.

I think, but im not sure that you can watch it on your P/C by going to www.gsn.com i know if i go there i can get the line up for the weeks programs, and i think theres somewhere you can click to watch it on your P/C, i got that channel so i watched it last year, havent watched it for a while now, but im going to check it out this week.>>>> buck:hello: Just went there and if you download the>>shock wave << you can watch it, but you need ShockWave to view it> on the Left side you click>> play along<< then the shock wave comes up, download it and watch on your P/C.

Once again Gabe Kaplan saves the day. I wish he still did the wsop main event. always been a fan, but i still think he does the best job out there.

But yes, this is probably my favorite new poker show that i've seen. very entertaining and not like all the other shows out there. definatly worth checking out if you can.

Thought it was excellent , though if you pay attention to the last hand of the night Doyle Brunson had a pretty noticable tell....

I felt good noticing what Doyle had before he did, doubt I'll ever be able to do that again in my lifetime lol! Thank you GSN
