Hold em or PLO ?

I prefer holdem but PLO is fun too, I don't play PLO6 though at that point the amount of hands you can make skyrockets.

I prefer Hold’em because it’s more strategic and easier to read opponents, but PLO is great for action and bigger swings. Hold’em for consistency, PLO for excitement

For me it’s definitely Hold’em as the main game, because it’s more controllable and easier to build a solid strategy around.

PLO feels more like an action game higher variance, more chaos, bigger swings. It’s fun sometimes, but harder to play consistently long term.

So for me: Hold’em for improvement, PLO occasionally for variety.

Personally, I am sticking with Holdem. PLO just feels like there is too much randomness for my taste. I get that variance is part of poker, but in PLO it sometimes feels like anything can happen on every street. With Holdem, I feel like there is a bit more control and less pure luck involved, especially over the long run.

Another big factor for me is the player pool. In Holdem, especially in MTTs and Sit & Gos, there are way more players and honestly a lot more beginners. That makes the games more dynamic and, lets be real, often softer. PLO players, on the other hand, usually seem more experienced and consistent.

I prefer Hold'em.
When I discovered poker, I chose Hold'em and focused on it. After that, I never even bothered to study the other variations.🤙🏼

I definitely prefer PLO, it's so much fun, but also more crazy game. I don't play anymore. I only play NLH tournaments.

I only play Holdem, other modalities I have a hard time playing, I don't know the rules, I think Holdem is the best option.

I usually participate in Hold'em and Omaha games, but in tournaments my preference is Hold'em.

It's a hard choice as I enjoy both but they are very different games despite appearing similar on the surface.

I think if you said I could only play one or the other for the rest of my life, then I'd have to go with Hold 'em:
1. I'm more profitable in it (or at least lose less

)
2. It is better suited to tournaments

I like Hold’em more because it’s simpler and more straightforward. PLO is interesting, but it can be more complex and unpredictable.
